Carmine J. Cillo
Carmine Joseph Cillo, 84, of Williamsport, passed away on February 13, 2017 at the UPMC Susquehanna Gatehouse Hospice .
He was born on December 28, 1932 to Sebatian and Catherine (Lengua) Cillo at Williamsport, PA. He was a graduate from the Williamsport High School and Lycoming College. Carmine worked for forty years as a Supervisor for the State of Pennsylvania Office of Public Welfare. Carmine was a member of the Sons of Italy Lodge No. 2786.
Carmine was a United States Army veteran serving during the Korean War conflict. Carmine served as a code clerk working in cryptology during his time in service.
Carmine married Janice Waldman on August 10, 1963 at Oval, PA. Together they shared 29 years of marriage.
Carmine is survived by his son, Jason Joseph (Shela) Cillo of Williamsport, PA; Step-Daughter, Christine (Robert) Young of Chocowinity, NC; Step-Son, Paul (Terri) Regopoulos, III of Liditiz, PA; five step grandchildren, and his sister, Mary (Pelligrino) DiMarco of Moorehead City, NC.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Janice A Cillo, and daughter, Erin Cillo.
Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Charles M. Noll Funeral Home, South Williamsport, PA. A Family rosary will be said at 6:00 PM led by Father Brian VanFossen.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 17, 2017, 11:00 am at the St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Williamsport, PA, with Father Brian Van Fossen, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Wildwood Cemetery, Williamsport.
