Kathleen Jean Creveling
Mrs. Kathleen Jean Creveling, 86, South Williamsport native and longtime resident, died Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
Born April 24, 1931 at South Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Clarence R. and Mable Viola Sholder Kahler.
Kathleen was a graduate of the Class of 1949 at the South Williamsport High School. She enjoyed both vegetable and flower gardening, cake baking, playing cards, performing cross-stitch, and family gatherings.
She and her husband, Robert M. Creveling were united in holy matrimony on June 18, 1949 at the Roman Catholic Church of the Annunciation, Williamsport. Together they shared 67 years of marriage.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Robert, are her two daughters; Jean (William) Dalton of Williamsport, Sherri Creveling of Charlotte, North Carolina, her four sons, Robert,Jr. (Renee) Creveling of Trout Run, Michael (Carla) Creveling of Williamsport, Steven (Virginia) Creveling of South Williamsport, and Edward (Cheryl) Creveling of Williamsport. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
In addition to her late parents, she was also preceded in death by her two sons, Randy J. Creveling and John A. Creveling and her two brothers, Albert Kahler and William Kahler.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 23, 2017 at the Charles M. Noll Funeral Home. The Rev. Stephen Frey, Deacon, will officiate.Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
